In 2014, IMPACT Marketing & Public Relations began guiding investment advisor David Berkowitz in the process of entity major rebrand.
Berkowitz wanted to bring his vast experiences managing hedge funds in the trenches of Wall Street to friends and family in his hometown of Middletown, NJ – ordinary people who faced financial devastation when the tech bubble burst, and would otherwise never be able to benefit from his keen investment advice.
ValueAligned® Partners was born.
ValueAligned® was devised to succinctly and clearly reflect Berkowitz’s ideals of rational, systematic investing in the stocks of good companies and aligning their management with a shareowner’s best interests.
The name heralded Berkowitz’s value-based approach to investing, while simultaneously evoking his own personal ethics – honest communication free from conflict and hidden agendas.
Berkowitz’s boisterous, “tell it like it is” personality factored heavily into IMPACT’s work for ValueAligned®, as we strategically weaved his distinct voice and, ahem, unique turns-of-phrase throughout all components – from blog posts to email campaigns – thus differentiating ValueAligned® Partners from every other dry and rote investment firm throughout New Jersey and the nation at large.
Berkowitz offers two distinct services: 1) managing a hedge fund for very high-net-worth investors, and 2) managing the ValueAligned Portfolio, which brings the same high-level expertise and analysis afforded to the top 1% to the top 10%, if you will. David’s status as a sort of whistleblower on the perils of the typical (and very costly) Wall Street approach of selling mutual funds permeates the ValueAligned® brand.
