After months of anticipation, Barkleigh Productions is bringing the Pet Boarding and Daycare Expo back to Hershey, Pennsylvania, from November 10–13, 2025.
Hosted at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center, this national trade show and educational conference is a premier gathering for business owners and industry leaders looking to elevate their operations, connect with peers, and explore the latest innovations shaping pet care.
A Bit on Barkleigh’s Expo Origins
Barkleigh Productions is a key player in the pet care and grooming space. The Groomer to Groomer and Pet Boarding and Daycare magazine publisher organizes several trade shows and educational events throughout the year.
The expo was launched in 2012 in response to the success of Pet Boarding and Daycare magazine’s first year of publication. Hosted in Baltimore, strong demand quickly drove future growth, as well as industry-leading speakers, dozens of exhibitors, and hundreds of pet care professionals.
This year’s schedule includes several exciting presentations and speakers, with exhibitors on hand Wednesday and Thursday to showcase their latest products and services during the trade show. Educational tracks span topics like facility design, animal health, staff management, business operations, marketing, and so much more.
Attendees registering by Nov. 7 can take advantage of early pricing (on-site registration is more expensive).
IMPACT’s Return to the Expo Floor
IMPACT has long been a presence at Barkleigh’s events, contributing thought leadership on marketing, trends, and pet care growth strategies. Our team will once again be on hand to share our expertise and discuss emerging pet care topics and tools.
IMPACT’s Duane Carey will also lead a focused session on “Google Marketing & Lead Generation: What Worked in 2025 (And Will Fuel Success in 2026!)” from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Duane will dig into what’s working on Google right now across areas like:
- Search volume trends (what people are asking)
- Paid advertising structure, performance, and optimization
- The power of Google Reviews and reputation management
- SEO strategies tailored for pet care & boarding
- Content development that supports lead generation
Attendees (regardless of experience or technical skill) will walk away with actionable steps to sharpen their marketing, boost lead flow, and improve efficiency.
Why You Should Attend
Whether you run a small boarding facility, manage a multi-site daycare, or are exploring ways to scale, here’s what you stand to gain:
- Cutting-edge marketing insight: In a shifting landscape (voice search, AI, tech integration), you’ll want up-to-date tactics that deliver.
- Industry-specific application: Because this is a pet-care conference, the ideas and case studies are directly relevant, not generic.
- Networking & vendor access: Meet suppliers, software vendors, trainers, product manufacturers—all under one roof.
- Inspiration & innovation: See how others are pushing boundaries in facility design, customer experience, pet enrichment, tech use, and more.
- Perfect timing for 2026: This late-year inspiration is just perfect for prepping fresh ideas for a new year’s strategy.
Heading to Hershey?
Here are just a few solid tips from some seasoned expo pros:
- Plan your schedule ahead: With parallel sessions, pick the talks that most align with your goals (e.g. marketing, operations, health).
- If possible, bring your team. Multiple perspectives (marketing, operations, front desk) help turn education into action.
- Keep those “pain points” in mind. Whether you’re struggling with software, training tools, marketing vendors, or equipment—the expo offers up actionable insights for you, specifically.
- Take good notes. Then! Prioritize one or two ideas to test immediately once you get back to the office. Execution beats inspiration, so be sure to follow through.
We’re excited to join again for Barkleigh’s 2025 expo and look forward to connecting with industry peers, clients, and new faces. If you plan to attend, be sure to drop by booth 60 to talk shop with our amazing team. We hope to see you there!
