Greetings!
With lots of caveats and crossed-fingers, it looks like we might be seeing the beginning of the end of the mass shutdowns around the country. Let’s hope that the initial, limited re-openings do not yield a spike in new cases or hospitalizations. If the first phase goes well, we should be in good shape soon.
This week I have several useful attachments:
Returning to the Workplace
Commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield has two very great resources for us. The Recovery Readiness How-To Guide is very comprehensive at 34 pages. The Safe Six Checklist is an accompanying one-pager.
I’ve also included an Employee Health Screening form prepared by SHRM. It is linked here. SHRM also has a guide, prepared by a lawyer, on what to do if a scared employee does not want to come back to work.
There’s also a Word document with some additional considerations for the return to the workplace.
New York SBDC: Great Summary of PPP Details
I know that several of you have received PPP loans. This SBDCNY slide deck presented by the SBDC in New York is a comprehensive guide to forgivability of the loan. It summarizes all the rules and gives helpful tips at the end.
COVID Verticalized Insights
This is an interesting slide deck showing how Google searches have changed as a result of COVID-19. You should be able to find some insight in the search patterns. How can you adjust your product or service offerings to capitalize on these new search habits?
I know we have all been working around the clock and have added a ton of new responsibilities and worries to our already full plates. So I hope you were able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weekend (for those in the Mid-Atlantic). If not, please be intentional about finding an outlet. I took most of the day off yesterday for the first in a long time and it felt great!
Have a great week, and as usual, please don’t hesitate to give me a shout if you need anything.
