2012-05-14: IMPACT Marketing & Public Relations, LLC received two Platinum Hermes Creative Awards from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).
The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of print, visual, and audio materials, and marketing and communication programs.
Overseen by the AMCP, these awards aim to recognize the creativity of corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, graphic designers, website creators, and freelance specialists.
IMPACT won a Platinum award in the Pro Bono category for its Child Sex Abuse Prevention Postcard for Shari’s Promise, a non-profit organization created to ensure the safety of children through prevention training, support, and empowerment.
The company also won a Platinum award in the Integrated Marketing/Company Branding category for the rebranding of the Shanty Grille, a restaurant in Ellicott City, Maryland.
Over 4,700 national and international applications were submitted in 18 subcategories for the 2012 Hermes competition. Platinum awards represent the highest honor and are for “entries judged to be among the most outstanding entries in the competition in terms of quality, creativity, and resourcefulness.” AMCP judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
“I’m thrilled that our industry peers around the U.S. have judged our work to be a month the best in the business. These awards are a testament to the talent and resourcefulness of the best creative team around – I couldn’t be more proud of them,” said Duane Carey, President of IMPACT.
